3 Easy DIY Holiday Signs
Are you starting to get excited about the holidays?
I am getting ridiculously excited.
Like, already-plotting-my-Christmas-decor excited.
I think I might even break into the “bins” this weekend just to refresh my memory about what I already have before I start crafting up a Christmas-storm.
Some of my favourite DIY Christmas projects have to be these easy DIY Holiday Signs that I have made.
Not only do they add a super fun graphic punch to our holiday decor; but they were easy and SUPER THRIFTY to make. Like pretty much free!
Perhaps my all-time favourite is this big DIY Peace Sign {Pottery Barn Knockoff}. I love the distressing; and the red and white scheme screams Christmas to me. I love red and white at Christmas…

Another fun and festive one is this DIY Chalkboard Countdown Sign I made out of an old cabinet door. I love that it was an easy upcycle – and my boys’ love the fun polka dots.

And, even though blue and white may not be traditional colours, blue just seems to be the colour of every season around here. This Baby, It’s Cold Outside DIY Christmas Pallet Sign is based on the famous song: one of my favourite holiday tunes.

I think that my favourite thing about each of these DIY holiday signs may be that they add such a fun graphic punch to our holiday decor while each of them was basically free to create. I used paint that I already had on hand – and the only thing that I spent money on was the long board I used for the PEACE sign. The rest was up-cycled!
You gotta love free when the holidays can be so notoriously expensive, am I right?

Thank all of you for all the tips and great ideas! I’ve really jumped on the board signs with what I think is slowly becoming a addiction. Just trying to figure out settings on my new silhouette cameo to cut Mylar stencil and what I need to do so they look right. But I’m looking more and more at trying the vinyl approach. I just wanted something I could use again and again.. But all this tips helps.
So cute, Krista! And you can’t beat the price tag! Have a wonderful weekend!
