Deck the Halls {Our Full Christmas Home Tour}
I have put together a whole home Christmas tour for deck the halls!
Hello everyone!
On Monday and Tuesday when I shared our Christmas living and dining room tours I said that I would be back each day all week with another tour in our home…
Well, life had other plans.
We had a massive wind and rain storm here. It was so windy that our trampoline flew up, right over top of our vehicle, and landed well over 100 feet up the road. And there has been rain. SO. MUCH. RAIN. Like 200+ mm, or 8 inches in 2 days. Flooding meant that some homes have been evacuated and the local highway that I drive to town each day was closed. Traffic had to be redirected along a little old farm road.
Then it was my birthday. And I came down with the worst cold that I have had in a few years.
So, anyhow, sometimes life just gets in the way, doesn’t it? Best laid plans and all that.
But today I am back to wrap it all up and show you the rest of our Christmas home… because I did, literally, deck the halls last weekend so I might as well share it, right?
Plus, I have been super inspired by all the amazing tours being shared over at Jennifer Rizzo’s Holiday Housewalk and I wanted to be part of her amazing yearly link up:
Hope you enjoy…
Come on in!
I used holiday red and blue accents this year on our Christmas porch, to go with the fabulous old cross country skis that I picked up free off someone’s lawn. The chalkboard shares lyrics from one of my all time favourite Christmas carols…
As you come directly into our Entry hall, you are greeted by my favourite giant Christmas village… If you are a regular reader you will probably notice quite a change in the entry hall. We got this new little sofa table from my sister and brother in law because they are making some serious décor changes at their place. Doesn’t it fit perfectly into our entry space?
From our entry hall you can head into our living room (head over here for the full Christmas living room tour)…
And then the dining room (head over here for the full Christmas dining room tour)….
Or come on and continue down our loooong hallway. I literally ‘decked the halls’ this year by adding garland and sprigs of grand fir all the way along the board and batten in the hallway.
Right down to another cute little Christmas vignette at the end of our loooong hallway. Can you spot my Wood Block Faux Christmas Presents?
I added a few little Christmas touches to the boys’ shared bathroom and bedroom this year. Grandma made the boy’s stockings and their quilted advent calendar.
And our Master Bedroom has been warmed up with some Christmas greenery, gold accents, and a new gorgeous rug from Rugs USA (I will be back soon to share more about it!!). The bed has been warmed up with a fuzzy fur cushion and throw, and I love how the whole scheme is tied together perfectly with the new envelope pillows I made for our bed (the print is Iman Sunstone from Online Fabric Store).
Find any inspiration? How is your Christmas decorating coming?

I loving the simple and stylish table you set! The chargers, the greenery, and all lights make it so casual and modern at the same time (my fav!)
Your whole house is so inspiring to me, and I am thrilled to have gotten to know you better through our “hops” current year!
Merry Christmas to you and yours my friend:)
I love your Christmas house, it’s darling! I saw the coffee table in one of your other posts and marked it to. You can’t go wrong with turquoise.

Hugs, Jamie
So sorry for the storm you had, Krista! Glad you’re all okay! Your home tour is gorgeous, nevertheless!!! I love those tall houses… they make such a pretty scene! Love your entry way, living room and everything else! And happy belated birthday (I think December birthdays are the best 😉
Wow! Everything is so fun and festive down to the last detail. I love the big Christmas village and the toy cars with the trees on top. You have a beautiful home. Thanks for letting us see your decked out hall!
your home is so fun and festive…perfect for the holidays. merry christmas
Hi Krista!! Darryl and I enjoyed your Christmas tour! Hope your birthday was cozy, considering you were sick…hope all the rain and the flooding is receding! Merry Christmas to you and your family! Hello to Aaron from Darryl too!
I just love your home!! The entry table definitely “had me at hello!” (although I’ve been a blog stalker for awhile). 🙂 I adore the homes on the table (that fits perfectly, btw). I’ve always liked the idea of a little village but haven’t found homes I really liked…until your little village! Where did you get the houses?
Hope all gets better in your life… rain, wind, a cold… feel better soon!!
Krista every room looks fabulous and the boys room is perfect, love it.
Oh wow, Krista! What a week! Hope everything is getting back to normal because that sounds like quite an ordeal. On the plus side- your house looks stunning! I want to cosy up with a cup of hot chocolate in quite a few places- so wonderful!
