Hello everyone! Today I can’t wait to share a super fast and easy way to make adorable Duck Tape Easter Eggs. There is definitely no shortage of ideas for ways to create fun, decorative eggs for Easter, but few are as quick and simple as this. The possibilities are endless with the styles and patterns of Duck Tape that are now available! And you can easily Buy Duck Tape at Walmart! To make these colourful eggs I headed to my local Walmart and shopped for Duck Tape in the Paint/Hardware section. The selection of different styles and patterns is truly unbelievable. I picked some patterns that had a fun Eastery color scheme and that I thought had a pattern that would blend well as I mixed pieces together to create these eggs. I also grabbed some hollow plastic Easter eggs while I was at Walmart. The supplies I used to make these: – Duck Tape from Walmart (look for it in the hardware/paint section as well as in the Crafts section of your local Walmart) – Plastic Easter Eggs (hollow) – Scissors As I said, it was a super easy DIY project. I just cut strips and pieces of Duck Tape in different widths… And gently adhered them to the plastic eggs by pushing down and smoothing out the inevitable wrinkles as best I could… I used really patterned Duck Tape designs so that the design blends in with itself as you add and layer the different pieces of Duck Tape. It is amazing how the wrinkles and bubbles start to disappear and blend in as you layer the different pieces of Duck Tape. They turned out to be so adorable, don’t you think? I’m pretty thrilled with them!! (And I have to confess that I also used the turquoise Duck Tape to repair my eyeglasses… ya, I’m pretty stylish).
How fun is that? Pin it to remember!!
Do you have any fun ways you like to use Duck Tape? My son likes to use it to make wallets and special ‘spy’ pockets… I hear that girls even use it to make their prom dress now!?! Amazing… what is the craziest or most interesting use you have heard of for Duck Tape?? Keep up with what’s new by following on Twitter!

Great idea Krista! But what I really want to see are your glasses that you mended with duck tape.
Super cute and festive! Those new duct tape styles are so fun!
They are fun – and kinda quirky. Super handy for holding together your eyeglasses when the arm snaps off too… Thanks for dropping by Kelly!!
