Fall Home Tour {including the stuff that’s ripped apart}

Come see all my fall decor with this home tour!

Fall Home Tour at The Happy Housie

It’s official.

The first week of Fall is upon us.

We finished off the summer with a beautiful warm sunny weekend and then the rains began within the next day.

Right on schedule.

But at least it put me in the mood for a little cozy Fall decorating….

Pumpkins, Mums, that sort of thing.

I’m taking it a little more low key this season because of the major Kitchen Renovation that we are in the middle of…

But I still found the time to add a few of my favourite homey fall touches to our space.

Come on in for our Fall Home Tour and take a look…

The front porch decorated with pumpkins, and planters.

It is pretty quick and easy to add a little Fall feel to the front porch by adding some pumpkins, mums, pansies, and a bucket of red apples.

Maybe you recognize my double sided Sharpie pillow from last Fall?

Two Sided Sharpie Pillows for Fall that says Gather.

I still love it just as much as I did when I made it…

Bright purple and yellow flowers on the front porch.

Planters of flowers in pots on the porch beside pumpkins.

There is just something about orange that says Fall…

I guess it is the whole pumpkin thing.

I even had my first Pumpkin Spiced Latte the other day.

Those are like a party in your mouth.

Wow.

A small wooden console table painted turquoise. A bright yellow floral pillow on a white chair with boots in front of it, in the foyer. A fall banner. A wooden bucket filled with harvest items.

But of course Pumpkin Spice Lattes aren’t the only wonderful thing about Fall.

There are also those stunning, crisp, clear days with the beautiful glow of the yellow, gold, and orange leaves highlighted against the bright blue sky.

Those are some of my favourite days of the whole year.

I wanted to add a little bit of that bright gold, orange and blue feel to our living room.

A neutral couch with yellow pillows on it and paintings above it. There are painted paddles on the wall above the paintings. A small wooden box with apples in it is on the coffee table. There is a small yellow side table beside the couch. A small sitting bench with storage underneath is in front of the living room window. A wooden barrel is beside the neutral couch with a vase filled with white flowers on it. A small wire container has pine cones in it beside a white lamp. There is a fall banner strung up on the TV console. Creative pumpkins, one made of succulents on the table. A hexagon coffee table painted a light blue in the living room. Oh, but if you turn around in the living room, then this is kind of what the dining room looks like right now… Kitchen Renovation Progress. Oh well…

If I start to get stressed then I can just get another Pumpkin Spice Latte, right?

Inspired to add a little “fall” to your décor? Pin it to remember it!
