Rustic and Natural Fall Mantel Decor
Something about Autumn screams out for rustic and natural décor touches.
Touches like the DIY Twig Letter that I shared the other day.
I truly loved how it turned out… and toyed around with where I wanted to use it.
It would have been perfect on an Autumn wreath.
But I figured that with a few weeks left until I pull out all of our Christmas décor, I might as well not leave the mantel bare.
So this simple rustic and natural fall mantel décor was born.
This late fall mantel design is pretty neutral for me, with just a little hint of natural orange/red/yellow. But after all the business of our Halloween décor I am welcoming this calm, natural and rustic feel.
I wish I could say that I made that adorable little twig pumpkin, but I have to admit that I actually just bought it at Target earlier in the season.
The great thing about a chalkboard on the mantel is that it is so easy to switch up for each season… Adding this little quote gives the whole vignette a Thanksgiving feel.
And the little white squirrel is one of my favourite fall pieces; I got it last year at Home Sense.
Dried corn makes for the perfect final touch and adds another little hint of colour…
So what do you think of this neutral and rustic look?
Do you love adding rustic décor touches in Autumn?
I love this, Krista! Your twig monogram is fabulous, I should head to that post! You have such a way with staging vignettes. So lovely!
Right up my alley Krista! LOVE the neutral rustic look! Totally crushing on that little pumpkin!
Pretty display Krista!
