The “I’m So Ready for Summer Home Tour”: A Few Updates and Some Things to Come
Welcome to our home!
Have you been following along with the Shabby Creek Cottage Summer Tour of Homes this week? I have been inspired by all of these beautiful spaces and while our house is nowhere near that level, it did make me realize that our ‘housie’ tour was getting pretty outdated. A lot has changed around here in these last few months and we have quite a few more exciting changes yet to come…
So “come on in” and see how things are looking these days… though I can promise you they won’t stay the same for very long around here!
In the entry hall we recently installed board and batten, I chalk painted a dipped and striped chair, and made a simple wooden sign out of reclaimed wood.
From our entry hall you turn left into our living room…
The living room features a gallery wall with upcycled vintage oil paintings, and new simple DIY envelope pillows.
I also made some DIY chalk paint to brighten up this little vintage table.
And tried out a fun texture painting technique and added a sisal rope edging to this little two dollar garage sale side table.
I also transformed this old weary dresser into a fun bright media console using my DIY chalk paint.
The living room flows directly into the dining room area…
There are some changes in the works for the dining room soon… that of course involve chalk paint and fabric…
Our dining area is directly attached to the kitchen…
which also will be undergoing major changes in the next few months, the exact details of which are very much still up for debate… the peeling melamine cabinets need some definite attention.
A glimpse into the kitchen…
From the kitchen there are glass doors that access the deck.
We have a looooong hallway down the center of the house off which are the bedrooms, bathroom, and laundry room.
The main bathroom doubles as our guest bathroom and as
the bathroom that our two boys share.
We revamped it shortly after moving in but I haven’t written about it yet as that was pre-blog.
Our laundry mud room has access to the garage as well.
We did a major laundry room revamp recently and you can read more about all of the projects involved…
The boys’ bedrooms are currently ‘under construction’ and I will have many fun projects to share for little boys’ rooms in the next few months.
Our ‘almost free’ master bedroom is the last room at the end of the hallway…
Attached to our master bedroom is a nice little ensuite that we also
revamped shortly after moving in.
and looking back into the bedroom from the ensuite…
Hope you enjoyed the tour! We also have a full basement but there are lots of things to do upstairs before I get down there. Many changes yet to come and many more fun projects ahead on the horizon!
All the paint colour names are listed in my housie tour, and also check out the before and afters of each of these spaces!!
Remember, HOME isn’t built in a day. Enjoy the journey!!

Love all those beautiful colors…………could I please ask what the name of the paint color & brand is you used on that folded turquoise table in the entry hall ?
Hi Stephanie! That is a piece I purchased from a local shop called Beckonings that is painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and I believe the colour is called Florence. Hope that helps!
Krista
Krista, your home is amazing! I just love all of the colors you have used, and you do have such a happy home. I saw you used Colorado Gray in your entry. I’d love to feature this on my paint color blog, Involving Color. Let me know if you’re interested!
Hi Jena! That sounds awesome!! I would be happy for you to feature our entry hall colour!
Thanks so much,
Krista
Wow your home is just beautiful…I love happy colours that make me smile and your whole home does that…happy to have found your blog and look forward to following along 🙂
xx Karen
Your blog name is perfect for your home. So happy! You already know I love every square inch. 🙂 I’ve included a link back in today’s Fun in the Sun party highlights. Thanks so much for linking up and participating, Krista! xoxo
I love it, it’s so bright and cheerful! I’m redoing my basement soon and I think it needs some cheeriness like this!
Tania
I LOVE your home!!!!! Do you or your husband slalom ski?? (I saw the ski hung on the wall) And is that a {private} ski lake behind your house?! I just love it!
Hi Marinda! We don’t ski much these days… my husband can ski and has done slalom but just for fun… that ski is pretty vintage and we picked it up at my parent’s neighbours moving sale. I bet there have been plenty of fun hours spent on that ski:) The lake is just a public lake… it has four arms on it… some of them have no or very few houses. Lots of people ski and wakeboard on it in the summer. A great place to be this time of year:)
Krista
I love your colorful home!! I swoon every time I see pics 🙂
I’ve featured you today: http://www.52mantels.com/2013/06/summer-ideas-recipes.html

Wow Krista!! What a great house – so many bright happy rooms – I’ve sent a link to the client I just finished with (kids rooms) – she should have hired you! She has oars and giant utensils on the walls too! separated at birth?? Great photography too – Just awesome:)
Hi Nicole! So funny… I wonder how many of us are out there…with oars and giant utensils on our walls. And what does that say about us?? Lol. Thanks so much for your super kind awesome comments – it means a lot coming from an actual real life designer and totally made my day!
Your home is so pretty!
I love the colors that you use on your Deck, so inviting! =)
Thank you Melissa!!
Love love love your house! Everything about it, not to mention the view is beautiful and all of the colors are so full of life! Thanks for stopping by Simple Home Managing, I’m excited to see how you decorate your son’s room!
Hi Jennifer! Thanks so much for your return visit and super kind comments:) So glad to meet ya!
Krista!! Your home is simply stunning!! I just found your blog today and I can’t stop ooh-ing and aah-ing! I was wondering if you could share the paint brand and color you used for your front door. It is breathtaking! Is this the same color throughout the entryway walls? Thanks and I can’t wait to explore your site more and I definitely subscribed!! 🙂
Summer
Hi Summer!!
Thank you! I have added my paint colours now to my housie tour page but I need to go in and add them on that post… sorry! The front door is called Aegean Teal (Benjamin Moore)… I chose it for that front door and the living room coffee table by colour matching it to the broken oar that hangs on our living room wall – it came that colour. The hallway walls are one colour down on the same paint chip and they are called Colorado Gray. I have some more plans for that colour, and the colour one further down again (harbour haze)… for the kitchen. So glad you subscribed!!
Holy Moly! Can I come spend the weekend at your house? ; ) Seriously, your home is gorgeous and all your hard work has definitely paid off! Off to make some chalk paint now…
Hi Heather!
Aw, thanks for your super kind comments! I love doing ‘housie’ stuff so it doesn’t seem like work:) Good luck with your chalk paint project!!

Yay!!! Jenna, I am so excited- thank you! Have a great week:)
Krista
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your home! From the old church bench in the kitchen, to the bright colors, to the painted banister poles hanging on the wall I could stare at your photos for hours. Simply gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Chelsea! Aww, thanks so much for your super kind comments!! It is fun to mix up a gallery wall with something a little unexpected, no? Have a great week!
Krista
So welcoming, so pretty and so….happy, Krista!
Thank you Roeshel! So thrilled that you came by to comment – totally makes my day!
LOVEEEE your color scheme. So calm and beautiful!
Wow, wow, wow! I’ve been trying to take all the colour out of my home, but you totally make me want to bring lots of it back! Your home is beautiful and sunny. What a happy place to live. You should be very proud. Thanks so much for sharing and the inspiration. x Julie
Hi Julie! White homes are so beautiful too… but I have always gravitated to colour. I sometimes wonder what it would feel like to live in white or all neutral space – but I get a lot of energy from colour and we live in a grey climate so I love the surge of life inside all winter!
KRISTA! You are one talented woman! I knew that before, but MAN this home is gorgeous. I’m so insanely jealous. Your colors and brightness and happiness in this home are just stunning. Come redo my entire home, mkay?!??? Well done. Featuring you on Sundae Scoop today! Hugs!
Awww, Abbey! You are way too kind!! Your comments totally made my day! Thanks… I would love to come redo it but you have tons of talent yourself and don’t need me! Yay! Thanks for the feature!!
Found you through Pinterest and I’m ever so glad. You have a lovely, happy, inspriing home. Looking forward to exploring your blog.
Hi Fiona! So glad you found me too! Isn’t pinterest fabulous!
Cute, cute, cute! I love the colors and feel…you make it comfy and pretty! 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
Have a great weekend!
~Kim
Thank you for your sweet comments Kim!! So thrilled you came by to check it out!!
Krista, Your house is just the best colorful house I have seen. You mix colors wonderfully. If I could handle that much color in my home I would love it to look just like yours. What a wonderful home you have made for you and your family. I can’t wait to see how you do the boys rooms. I have two boys of my own whom will be having their rooms redone hopefully next year and I am in need of inspiration. Alaina
Hi Alaina! Thanks so much for your super kind comments… I am totally looking forward to doing the boys rooms; am well on my way with my older son’s and have been collecting interesting thrifted pieces for several weeks now. Lots of fun projects ahead!!
Sooooo inspiring, Kirsta! Love everything! (Seriously, I love everything!!!)
Awww, April, that totally makes my day!! You have such beautiful style that that is a huge compliment!
Awesome home!! I love your use of color. It definately makes your home happy :-). Just found your blog thru It’s Overflowing. Can’t wait to look around some more.
Hi Diana! So glad to have you visiting, thanks for your super kind comments today!
Oh – never mind! Just looked at the post again and saw your sign for Sprout Lake! 🙂
What a beautiful home you have!!! And I always love your colors – definitely a happy place! 🙂 What lake do you guys live on? That is definitely a someday dream of mine! Thanks so much for coming out to the Inspiration Exchange – pinned this!
Hi Jenn! It was totally a ‘someday’ dream of mine – benefits of small town living, it is slightly more affordable… though BC house prices are ridiculous in general!!
Your home really is a happy housie! 🙂 Love all of the details and the wall galleries are perfection! thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you Heather!! So excited that you came to visit – thanks for your super kind comments!!
Love the bright colors in your gorgeous home! Great job!
Thank you so much Katy!!
LOVE your home!!! The colors are so fun and cheerful…and then it sits on a lake!!! You have such a great place!! 🙂 Thanks for sharing!!!
Hi Tonya! Thank you so much for your awesome comments…can’t wait for some consistently good weather around here so we can use the lake a little more!!
Love everything! Especially the living room! It would be a pleasure to have you join my weekly link party and share this. http://thelifeofjenniferdawn.blogspot.com/2013/06/a-little-bird-told-me-link-party-46.html
Hi Jennifer! Thank you so much for the personal invite!
hi Krista, You have been a busy girl! It all looks so bright and fresh! I love love love all the colors and patterns you have chosen! I remember your living room from a previous post, in fact your pillows inspired me to make new ones for our beach house! I love how you striped the chair in your foyer to match the rug. Great job, what a happy home!
Jenna
Hi Jenna! Thank you! Glad to have you back:) Crazy how well the chair and rug coordinate… especially given that I did the chair first and then found a rug at a garage sale for $1. Yes, that runner cost me $1!! I was so thrilled!!
Like many before me, I LOVE your “happy home” I am definitely following your blog!! Found you at A Stroll Thru Life Party. Have a great day, Lori
Yay Lori!! So excited to have you following! Thanks for your awesome comments:)
Absolutely LOVE the colors in your home – the brightness – must my style. Maybe in the next home the hubby will not be so opinionated on our decor and let me incorporate some brights.
Thanks Deb! Sometimes it can be hard to work around others’ (ie hubby’s) opinions when they can’t quite see the vision we have in our head!
love the use of colour, I have a bench similar to yours, a yardsale find for $40, but being over 9 feet long, it is hard to find a place for it sometimes!
I know… ours is nine feet as well. It sits on that wall in the dining room…. or… well, there is nowhere else for it in the house! But I love it so I am making it work:) It used to be a pew in an old classic church in our town.
You have a gorgeous home! You have done such a beautiful job decorating it. Love your deck! I have a new weekly link party which is live now and I would love if you stop by and link up this wonderful post! Hope to see you there! http://mariaelenasdecor.blogspot.com/ Hugs, Maria
Hi Maria!
Thank you so much for the personal invite!!
Krista, your home is just so bright and cheery! So fun! I can’t see how anyone could ever be upset there!
Jenna @ Rain on a Tin Roof
Lol Jenna!! We definitely have our share of bad moods and tears around here… with two little boys running around life is always a little chaotic! But we live in such a grey climate that the fresh colour is uplifting when the skies outside are grey and foggy for months on end!!
Your house is so happy! I love all the color!
Thank you Becky!
It’s all just gorgeous, Krista. You have such a knack for putting beautiful arrangements of pieces and colors together. So much prettiness, girl!
Thank you Kristi! Your comments made my day!!
Is your house for sale? Wow, it looks wonderful, and cheerful, alive and friendly. I love everything about it. I especially love the porch overlooking the waterfront. Lovely! I just found your blog through A Stroll Thru Life – Inspire Me Tuesday and I am your newest follower. I would love for you to stop by my blog sometime at http://homeandlifestyledesign.blogspot.com
Thanks, Patty
Thank you Patty!! Your comments are so sweet! Hard not to love a deck with a view though…even if I only threw a couple of old camping chairs on it:) So glad to have you following! I will definitely hop over to see you:)
I just adore your home Krista! The colors, your styling, everything. I love someone who is not afraid to use color! I love color too! 😉 I can’t imagine feeling anything other than “happy” when in your home. Thanks so much for sharing it on Project Inspire{d} 🙂 pinning!
Nancy
I sometimes feel like my colour is over the top when I look at other people’s beautiful more neutral homes… but in the end, that isn’t “me” and not “my” style even though I love and appreciate the beauty in it. I love to be surrounded by fresh colour… and love the crispness that white adds to the mix too:) It is always a balancing act!!
Your home is so bright and happy! Thanks for the tour!
Thank you Tammy!
Wow – so pretty, warm, cheerful and inviting. You have created a wonderful home for your family!
Thank you JoAnne!!
Wow! Really enjoyed that tour! Not even going to waste the time listing everything I loved because it was… well, everything! (over from Get Your Craft On)
Thank you Alison!! So glad you came by to visit!!
LOVE…LOVE…LOVE… all the color can’t stop looking.
Aw, thanks Desiree!! So glad you liked it:)
Krista, I LOVE your use of color! Visit my blogspot and you will see why! I have a hubby who has always wanted boring off white walls and so I have not done the walls with too much color except for my kitchen…..and wow am I jealous of your look! I paint funky furniture and never seem to get much done but that, and now you have made me thing I need to just DO IT. If he doesn’t like it, well…I guess I haven’t liked the off white for years..!
What a fabulously happy place you have created~! Love it! check out my blogspot and tell me what you think. 🙂 http://www.carolynsfunkyfurniture.blogspot.com gotta go browse your home again.. and drool~
Hi Carolyn!
White walls can be fabulous too I think… I have never actually had them but I do admire them in other people’s spaces and I was even considering painting my living room white… not sure how I would actually react to it!! Thanks for the invite:)
Can I come live at your house for a while for inspiration purposes?
Do you rent it out for vacations….????
I visited the party and yours seems to be my favorite! You are so amazing, girl….. I so pinned!!!
Hi Crystelle! Lol – you are hilarious. But thanks for your super awesome kind comments – made my day:)
Krista
What in the world are you talking about…. Your home is the most adorable ever!!!!
You have a beautiful home! Would you share what paint color your living room and dining room are? I have been looking for the perfect shade and I love yours! Thanks!
Hi Letitia! The living/dining room is called Grant Beige by Benjamin Moore… a nice neutral grey/beige (I’ve heard it called greige) that almost hints towards green/beige in some lights. Isn’t picking a good neutral so hard!?! Good luck!!
Krista
Thank you so much Krista! Yes, I think picking a neutral is one of the hardest things! Although I don’t have a decorators eye so I will take all the help I can get with colors!
Hope that colour works out for your!
One more question – do you use a semi-gloss on your walls? I have always used semi-gloss in the past but I was considering a satin or eggshell…although I do have two little boys so I guess I need something easy to wipe off. What do you think looks better?
I usually use a semi-gloss in the bathrooms and have used it in the kitchen before, as well as on our trim work because of the washability. But in other rooms like bedrooms and the living/dining room I usually use satin or eggshell. It is still pretty washable I think. Some flat paints even claim to be washable now!!
I was already fascinated with all of your projects and the previous peeks I’ve had of your home. Now I am over-the-top in love with each and every space you’ve decorated. Love all the wonderful COLOR! Do you live on Sproat Lake in B.C.? I was thinking you were on the east coast. Blessings to you friend. Patti@OldThingsNew
Thank you Patti!! Such a sweet kind comment – lots of colour to be sure!!
Delightful! Your photography shows off the great job you did! All in all, you have so much talent. See ya for the next great project! Cindy
Thank you Cindy – I am glad to hear you say that because I find taking good photos the most challenging part -sometimes (or often!) things just look so much better in real life!!
Wow! I always love your posts, but when you see all the rooms together you get a real sense of how it flows so well. What lovely colours and patterns everywhere. Your house really feels like it is full of life and of course…happy!
I never realized that you were right on the water. Gorgeous view!
Hi Amanda! I am glad the tour gave a better sense of flow… I guess the individual posts could make it feel a little crazy bright at times, but when you see it all together I think it balances out:) Thanks for your kind comments!
I just love the vibrancy of your home! Such a great mix of color and texture. It certainly looks like a happy home!
Thank you Sharon:) I am definitely a colour fan!
What a delightful and colorful home you have created Krista!! There are so many things I like. Thank you for sharing it and for all the wonderful inspiration.
Blessings!!
p.s. Thanks for sharing at Monday Funday!
Thank you Diane!
I didn’t see a single thing I didn’t like! What a gorgeous, cheerful, colorful home. I picture many happy memories being created within these walls. I love it!!!
Aw, Sherry! That is such a kind comment -we do love to have all our family over and hope we are creating some fun memories here:)
What a fun bright home you have…I have seen so many new ideas (thanks). Would love to have you share it at my NIFTY THRIFTY TUESDAY party.
Blessings,
Linda
Hi Linda! Thank you so much for the invite!
Krista – Your home is amazing! It’s the perfect reflection of the waterfront location that you have.
Hi Suzy! Thank you… I hope it feels lake cottagey:)
Your home is so happy! I LOVE it! May I ask where you get the fabric for all of your pillow covers? They are all so cool! Thanks so much for sharing your house with us! Have a great weekend!
~Abby =)
Hi Abby,
My two favourite sources are tonicliving.com and fabric.com. A lot of the ones I buy are by Premier Prints and are really affordable as well as fun and fresh looking:)
lovely tour! we share the same house colors. 🙂
Thanks Rachel! I will have to check yours out too!!
Your house is just too cute!! I loved taking the tour 😉
Thanks Kelly!
Your house is absolutely stunning. Your style is unique and I adore the way you’ve made it your own. First time visiting but I’ll be back!
Marty@Marty’s Musings

Just found you through the home tour! What a gorgeous home you have created! I’m a new follower.
Hi Kathy! So great to meet you!! Glad you are following, can’t wait to check out your home tour as well:)
I love your home, it is so colorful and happy. I followed your link to the envelope pillow tutorial and actually think I could make those! (a miracle because I am not a sewer !)
Thanks for all the inspiration! karen….
Yay Karen!! So glad to hear that, I hope you do give them a try. I am going to post about one piece envelope pillows soon too… they are even easier (but require a bit more of the ‘good’ fabric!!
I love your house sooo much! So bright and welcoming looking!
Thanks Kathryn!!
The name of your blog is PERFECT…Your house is so happy! Love the colors and that view from the deck is awesome! Have a great Saturday!
Thank you Sonya! Can’t wait to tour your home too:)
You have a beautiful home! So bright and cheery, yet comfortable 🙂
Thanks Viv!
Krista, your house is adorable and so colorful. It makes me want to walk around in flip flops and a bathing suit 🙂
Thanks Mandy! I can’t wait for some consistent summer weather so I can walk around in flip flops…and maybe my bathing suit beach dress:)
I loved this tour! Your house is beautiful and so full of cheery color. I kept picking my favorite room as I scrolled down but it kept changing. They are all beautiful!
Oh Jody -that is so sweet. I have been over to your blog many times and love your house too!!
Beautiful! What is the name and brand of the paint colour you’re using throughout the main space of the home? (The teal colour) It’s gorgeous!
Hi Ella!
In the hallway (and soon to be in the kitchen…) the colour is called Colorado Gray – by Benjamin Moore. It is a blue/grey/green tone – sort of a subtle teal. The colour one up on the chip is called Aegean Teal and that is the colour we used on our glass coffee table in the living room and on the front door… it all started with a broken paddle and has kind of snowballed throughout the house now!
Krista
Love your use of color and your entryway is fabulous!!
Hi Jennifer! Yes, colour… not everyone’s cup of tea but I seem to have a real thing for it! Can’t seem to do neutral if my life depended on it:)
Gorgeous home tour!
Thank you Nicki!!
Your blog is so aptly named. Your house really is “happy”! I love all your colors and accents and accessories you’ve made with love and care. Thanks so much for inviting us all in for a tour. I sure enjoyed visiting with you!;)
Thank you Rita!! It was fabulous to tour your home as well!
Your home is so fun and fresh! Love the details. I noticed the BC sign and then realized you are also Canadian. I have added your blog to my list of Canadian blogs in my sidebar. I’m following along too.
Hi Elizabeth!
So thrilled to have you following and to meet another Canadian blogger- can’t wait to check out your blog:)
Krista
I LOVE your house! Seriously, when can I move in? You have done an amazing job and each room is colorful and inviting. I especially love the foyer and living room. Where do you shop for accessories? I really love the lampshade on the tall floorlamp in your living room.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!
Lori
Thrifty Decor Mom
Hi Lori!
Lots of our accessories are actually from garage sales and thrift stores… but the tall lamp in the living room was a gift for Christmas a few years ago from a fab store called Urban Barn – it used to be black with a plain white shade. When we moved to this house and I started lightening up our colour scheme, I painted the base white and attached fabric to the shade with spray adhesive! Totally changed the look and I love it again!
Krista
Your house is colorful and fun …… definitely not outdated in my book !!!!! Now come help me update mine!
Haha Christine… thanks!
What a happy house indeed! Fun colors and great vignettes 🙂 So fun!
Thank you Cindy – the vignettes are fun to create and often changing!!
Oh, my goodness. I LOVE your house! It’s gorgeous. You’ve given me so many ideas for my own home. Great colors…very fun. Makes me want to go live on the beach somewhere.
~FringeGirl
Thank you!! Can’t wait to hop over and tour yours too!
“nowhere near that level” – You’ve GOT to be kidding. Your house is GORGEOUS! I love it! That’s kind of what I’m trying to do in my house; a beachy bright atmosphere since we live in rainy cloudy gloomy Seattle. I’m trying to convince my husband to let me do something to our bed, paint it, upholster it, something! The dark cherry wood doesn’t go with my white dresser and the (now painted) grey nightstands.
Then I’d also love to find a dresser to use as our tv stand. I’ve been on the hunt for awhile because we need the storage space so much and I’m tired of every piece of furniture being Ikea black!
I also love the plant in a colander (?) That is fantastic. If I had a view of that lake, I wouldn’t get a single thing done 🙂
Hi Andrea! You are too kind:) Sometimes the toughest party of a DIY is convincing the husband to go along with it. The view of the lake is great… but since we also live in the grey cloudy Pacific Northwest there is plenty of time to get stuff done!!
Krista
I love all the details of your beautiful home, Krista. Fun colors and oh, that lake view!
Thank you! We love to view:)
I love all the painted signs… and the bright colors… and well, everything! Your home is simply amazing!
Thank you so much for sharing it on the tour!
xoxo
Gina
Thank you Gina! I am so thrilled that you came by in person!!
So much to love about your house!! I love all the colors you’ve incorporated…I really want to do the same but for some reason I’m scared to go for it. Your home reminds me of a wonderful vacation spot. How nice to live there.
Hi Stacey! Thank you… we can try to pretend we are on vacation but reality creeps in far too often!!
What a a cozy, colourful home you have! I love how you have used white to keep it clean and bright yet nothing looks precious or unusable! Where did you get that mixed plaid shower curtain? It is the perfect pattern for that room – nautical and just right for your cottage by the lake!
Hi Bronwyn!
Thanks!! The shower curtain is from Pottery Barn – it was actually on clearance at the time so I don’t know if they carry it anymore… I got the monogramed towels to match at the same time. Also on clearance. That fabric pretty much makes the whole room – when you have such a small space it can be worth investing a little more in a shower curtain you love! The pattern is called “madras plaid”… I think they still have that pattern in bedding – I can’t remember for certain but I think it was from Pottery Barn Kids and not the regular PB site (ordered online of course since we live hour from a PB).
So bright and colourful! Love the huge fork!!!
Thanks Anne! It used to hang a little lower but my boys’ kept taking it off the wall and pretending to eat with it:) Looks better up there I think and the mirror is almost like a giant plate!
beautiful house you have Krista! 🙂 I wish I could be your neighbor to come and visit you! it looks comfortable, welcoming and happy! and of course very well put together! 🙂
saw your EAT letters in your kitchen! ah! 🙂 I love those letters and that big fork too!
can’t wait to see what you have planned for your dining room!
Hi Ingrid! Wish you could be my neighbour too, and we could spray paint things yellow together!! Big changes for the dining room and kitchen…. at some point. Have the boys’ rooms to think about too….
Krista
🙂 oh! nice I can’t wait to see all the changes Krista! I started on Nate’s room but gave up for now too many things at the same time! 🙂
Krista! WOW! You’re home is incredible! Simply THE Happiest house I’ve ever had the pleasure to lay my eyes on. Every corner is like a scrumptious delight. Such a beautiful expression of you and your amazing DIYness. My daughters were sitting with me when I was ‘taking the tour’ just now and they were in love with it too. They even said “Where is that?” What? That’s what houses in Canada look like?” And get this…”Can we move there?” funny…But a true testament he wonderful home have created.
Cheers to you and yours!
Hi Therese! You are always so kind and positive!! Your daughter is too cute… hilarious:) Thanks for visiting and taking the tour!!
