15 Animal-Inspired DIY Projects

Animal themed decor and Animal-inspired DIY projects seem to be gaining in popularity these days.

From animal hide rugs both real and faux, to animal print on pillows, throws, and clothing.

Sheepskin mats abound in fall and winter decor, as do faux fur throws and pillows.

Faux taxidermy is one of the hottest trends in wall decor; and animal outlines are popping up on everything from pallet signs to throw pillows.

I can hardly enter my favourite home decor store without seeing something animal-inspired in every aisle!

This month at the Get Your DIY On Challenge we put the challenge out to our friends to share their greatest animal-inspired projects, and we were impressed with the creativity!
