Even though it’s not technically the beginning of summer just yet, the May holiday weekend really marks the beginning of what I like to think of as “the season”.
You know. The Season.
The season of long lazy days and warm relaxing nights.
The season of lounging around the patio visiting with friends over a drink and watching the kids play happily in the yard.
The season of BBQing and eating every meal possible outside.
The season of BBQ parties not just at your own house, but with your friends or your family or your kid’s soccer team or with the whole neighbourhood.

And hopefully not the season of bringing along the SAME salad/side dish to each of the 25 BBQs you attend this season.
Do you ever get stuck in a food rut? I confess that I have brought the same dish to multiple occasions before. After a while, it starts to lose popularity status and you end up taking home most of what you brought.
