Friday’s Finds: Fun & Fab Christmas Pillows

I have put together the most fun and fabulous Christmas pillows that you will find!

When it comes time to decorate for a new holiday season, the first place I start is in the pillows.

Even with Christmas decor; I start by planning my Christmas throw pillows.

It may sound strange; but fabric {and therefore pillows} are the best way to tie together any sort of design scheme to make it cohesive.

This year I’m going with a more traditional Christmas design decor; kind of a cabin-chic feel. And it includes lots of plaid, buffalo check, and faux fur with some Christmas typography and traditional Christmas patterns thrown in for good measure.

I’ve also ordered some absolutely-over-the-top adorable printed pillows created by Lucy from Craftberry Bush via Society 6. I LOVE all her designs, but I narrowed it down to four patterns. Maybe you saw my post on Instagram the other day?

I love that cute little red beetle!

I also ordered a wagoneer, deer buck, and another beetle (for my boys’ room)…

Click on any of these images to be taken to that pillow at Society 6; or if you are on a mobile device, I have added the links below the pillow images for you!

She has some other really beautiful Christmas designs as well…

Hedgehog / Hunter Boots / Nutcrackers / Joyeaux Noel

Fawn with Scarf / Christmas Wreath / Wagon / Noel Finch

Plaid! Buffalo Check!

I’m also adding some fabulous Christmas plaids to the mix this year. I LOVE plaid at Christmas; and I’m sticking with fairly traditional red with a mix of some navy and green and even a little black and white in the buffalo check! So fun and cabin-chic Christmas.

Fur!

I love fur in the winter.

Faux fur of course. In addition to my sheepskins, I have a couple of different styles of fur pillows ready for this holiday season. The great thing about fur pillows is that they look amazing in January and February for a white wintery scheme, as well…

Christmas Typography!

I love to throw in a couple of cute little printed pillows at Christmas too – it seems the perfect time of year and they add a bright festive touch to your holiday decor. Like my DIY PB Knockoff chalkboard pillow

Cute Christmas Patterns!

I love mixing in some cute and traditional Christmas patterns – like these red and white patterned reindeer pillows. There are so many pretty holiday designs to chose from; patterns, wreaths, trees… I think that one or two in your decor is perfect but you don’t want to stack Christmas pillow after Christmas pillow after Christmas pillow on top of each other. It’s great to mix them in with you basics (like plaids and fur and solids etc.).

  1. Cool cushions, I decorate with the cushions and throws 1st as well. I love the deer ones, I found some I liked but someone said they would put targets on them if I got them…darn men and boys. Boys would think it was funny and use them as target practice with toy guns.

Cant wait to see how your house is decorated this year.

    1. Hi Anita? Were you on mobile? I’m having issues with my gallery images working in mobile. Sorry! I have added the links below the pillow galleries so that it still will work in mobile, now:) These pillows are so pretty!!
