Today I’m sharing some of my own DIY succulent planter ideas as well as a collection of some other beautiful DIY succulent planter ideas to inspire your next outdoor project.
Hello friends! Happy Saturday!
I normally like to share a collection of my favourite finds from the week on a Friday, but this week was very hectic being the last week of school and all, so I decided to mix things up a little. We’ve been working hard around the yard to get things all tidied up for summer, and I recently have been trying to do some creative things with the lovely succulents in our yard…
Maybe you spotted the shopping bag with a galvanized planter full of succulents in our outdoor patio and fire pit makeover tour?
I also created a big outdoor planter full of succulents and mixed in some driftwood to give it a cheery beachy feel…
The other day I was picking up some fresh flowers at my local nursery/flower shop and I spotted some super cute ideas for DIY succulent planters that they have in their store… if you are local, you can head to Colyn’s nursery to buy one of these, or even just to pickup some enchanting succulents and plant your own.
These tin can succulent planters are really cute – I think you could paint an old tin can with some spray paint and then wipe it off the ridges with a rag before it fully dies to reveal the metal underneath. You may want to seal the whole tin can with a varathane spray before planting to prevent it from rusting if you are keeping it outdoors.
I also love the little tree branch planters! With this planter you could just hollow out a piece of tree branch and plant it up… I want to give it a go this summer.
This log plant container is so beautiful, as well! What a gorgeous woodland centerpiece it would make for your summer outdoor dining table…
So knowing how much I’m loving the succulent planter trend, I thought I’d share some more cute ideas with you in case you’re looking for some creative, unique, and interesting ways to add some succulents to your outdoor space or garden this summer!
I hope you find some inspiration for your next lush outdoor project… click on the links above each image to be taken to the tutorial page for each project!
