Easter Bunny in the Grass Spring Wreath for our Easter Mantel

I will show you how to recreate my spring wreath that is perfect for Easter!

I didn’t make it until most of the mantel was already done.

I had a big blank space that I wasn’t quite sure what to do with.

But after some pinterest-inspiration  I ended up creating this bad boy.

My Easter Bunny in the Grass Spring Wreath.

And I love how it turned out….

To make this seasonal wreath I used:

A hot glue gun, ribbon, a white Easter bunny on the table.

4″ natural burlap ribbon with frayed edges (from BB Crafts)
2″ green and white wired chevron ribbon
Pink Ric Rac ribbon
– Green eyelash yarn (from The Dollar Tree)
Mini Foam Easter Eggs (from Dollarama)
Small white ceramic bunny (from The Dollar Tree)
Grapevine wreath (not pictured)
– Glue gun and glue
– Scissors

Start by wrapping the wreath form in the natural burlap ribbon. I used a grapevine wreath form and it turned out a little lumpy… next time around I would probably go with a smooth foam form instead. Live and learn.

Once the whole form was wrapped in the burlap ribbon I added some pink ric rac to the top 2/3 of the Easter wreath. I also added a double bow to the top of the wreath using the green and white chevron ribbon. (This ribbon is so pretty! I ordered it in several shades and can’t wait to make another wreath with it).

Then I wrapped the bottom 1/3 of the wreath in the green eyelash yarn.

Using the hot glue gun to glue on the green grass/moss.

When the whole she-bang was wrapped I simply hot glued the bunny and foam Easter eggs to the grassy area. Done!

I love how it finishes off our Easter Mantel…

I can’t wait to show you the rest of the spring mantel next week… along with our whole spring house tour. Woot woot!
