Free Printable Valentine’s Day Decor

Today I’m sharing some free printable Valentine’s Day decor as well as our simple Valentine’s Day Mantel decor.

I have to confess I’m really excited about sharing this free printable Valentine’s Day Decor with you today; but perhaps not for the reason you’d expect! It has nothing at all to do with my love for Valentine’s Day… but is actually more about my love for the month of February.  It may sound strange, but I feel like February is a gateway month… kind of like a Thursday in a days-of-the-week sense.  It’s a month that leads into something a bit better and then that leads to something even better.  February means that Spring is on the way!

This year, following the Christmas holidays, I kept my mantel decor pretty basic for a few weeks.  Now that Valentine’s Day is approaching, I’ve added in some new (free printable) love quote art and a cute XOXO LOVE banner that I made – it’s in gold and features pretty white anemone flowers.  I wanted to keep things feeling fairly light and neutral for the next few weeks as we approach spring.

Another confession?

My husband and I don’t usually do anything to celebrate Valentine’s Day as a couple!

Shelves above a fireplace with Valentines Decor strung up around it.

We always celebrate Valentine’s Day as more of a holiday for the kids and at school. I usually help the boys make some fun Valentine’s for their class (you can see  10 free printable Non-Candy Valentines I shared here, as well as some “Goldfish” cracker Valentine’s here).

Yellow flowers, vases and framed graphics on the mantel.

The love and xoxo banner on the mantel.

My Mom also likes to give the kids something to commemorate the holiday, but as far as celebrating as a couple it’s just a habit that we never got into.

Up close picture of the banner on the fireplace mantel.

It can tend to be a bit of an expensive holiday with overpriced flowers and set dinner menus at restaurants; so we like to keep things simple and just do a nice dinner together at home as a family.  But it doesn’t have to be expensive to add some cute Valentine’s decor to your home!

The framed quotes and yellow flowers.

The ‘together is my favourite place to be’ is some Valentine’s Day quote art that I shared a couple of years ago, and it’s in the printable library along with today’s new shares.

I do love this quote by Van Gogh.  One of my favourite classical artists, I remember dragging my husband to the Van Gogh museum when we travelled to Amsterdam backpacking as 21 year olds… he ended up loving it as well!

Both of these love quote art prints are in the printable library, and I also made the Van Gogh Quote in a black font version…

What Is Done In Love is Done Well is a graphic to print.

I’m sharing this free printable XOXO LOVE banner as well as the free printable V-Day art, in case you want to add a cute little touch of this holiday to your home.  You can access it all through my free printable library.

As you can see, I made a pretty white and gold triangle shaped bunting with a coordinating white and gold quote print…

In addition to the neutral white and gold version, I also made this available in a chalkboard design.  I love chalkboard buntings, but I don’t think they look great on our dark mantel.  If you have a white mantel, then this one may be perfect for you!
