Jingle Bell Gift Wrapping with Free Printable Christmas Gift Labels

Gift giving.

It can actually be one of the more stressful parts of the holiday season. Some people absolutely adore shopping; they’ll spend all kinds of time and energy on finding the absolute perfect gift for someone. Others really can’t stand going to any store aside from Costco or the grocery store and abhor gift shopping and giving of any kind!

I’m in the middle.

I love finding the perfect gift;  seeing my loved ones open something that I’ve thought about and searched for and wrapped with love and care.

But, I can’t stand shopping in December.

Thankfully this year I had the chance to do a shopping weekend with a good friend early in November and I truly think it made all the difference to my stress level. I had over half my gifts bought before our Christmas decorating was done! And once the tree was up and decorated, I had real life presents to wrap and place under it!

Today I’m sharing a cute and simple DIY gift wrap idea with you (jingle bell gift wrapping!) in addition to some sweet free printable gift tags that I made. And if that’s not enough, I’ve made them available in 6 different colours. Plus, I’ve linked up with a group of talented bloggers who are also sharing their DIY gift wrapping ideas for you!

I hope you enjoy all the freebies and all the inspiration! Merry Christmas!

I love finding the prettiest wrapping paper that I can that is still super affordable. My favourite source is generally HomeSense (HomeGoods). They have such a gorgeous patterns; the paper is usually only about $3.99 a roll and the quality is unbelievable!

I also like wrapping some of our gifts in brown paper and dressing them up with simple strands of twine. This year I decided to do a jingle bell theme and added little jingle bells to all the gifts. I picked them up at my local dollar store but I’ve also seen them at Michaels and Walmart. The neutral twine is from HomeSense and the bakers twine is from Michaels. I love using something interesting like pretty twine and jingle bells instead of the traditional plastic bows.

Pretty (but affordable) paper. Pretty twine. Jingle bells. And free printable labels.

So easy, right??

  1. I just love these! And I’m with you on shopping early. I’m all about the online shopping from my couch, rather than braving those crowds

  2. I’m with you on the shopping in November! I actually do most of mine online now, with the exception of those little add-ons you need to pick out in person. Love these cute gift tags!
