If you need ideas on how to organize your kitchen items then you will love all these super creative kitchen organizational tips!

How To Organize Everything In Your Entire House A 10 Week Challenge & Plan poster.

Good morning and happy Monday, friends!

Have you been following along with my 10 week organization challenge and plan? If you are just joining in, you can read all the details here.

I hope that you had a great weekend. I managed to get started on Week Two of my ten week organizing challenge on Sunday and made a ton of progress on getting our kitchen back into shape.

It. Feels. SO. Good!!

I can’t wait to share all the details with you; but I have a few more little things to tweak {as well as a fridge and pantry to re-organize}… and I need some daylight to snap some pictures in. I also have a couple of new additions to our kitchen that I’m hoping to share with you this week – it’s going to be a busy one!

Kitchen Organization

I have to tell you, I was shocked by how much stuff I was able to part with in our kitchen. Over three boxes left our house to be donated in addition to a box of recycling and small bag of trash. Once the kitchen was all {and I do mean ALL} sorted through and purged; then came the fun part!

Putting it all back together in an orderly and organized way!!

But if that doesn’t seem like the fun part to you; if it instead seems like the confusing and overwhelming part; then today’s post is for you. I’ve searched high and low for super creative kitchen organization ideas to share with you to help inspire your kitchen organization project this week.

Enjoy!

  1. The hanging cup thing is from ikea. I have the same rod and hooks. Just not the baskets. Also, how do you get the magnetic spice rack to stay on on the cupboard?

  2. In 2008 I realized I was right on the border between a pack rat and a hoarder. I took baby steps for eight years until last year when I found your sight. I started with the office last year and went through the pantry and part of the kitchen thoroughly last year. Then life got busy so I just did bits and pieces ( My mid century modern home has a pantry with five enormous cupboards, A breakfast room with five cupboards and five drawers. The kitchen has a combined total of 37 drawers and cupboards. I did the office very well last year and it just needed updating. The best job I did was with the Tupperware. It looked neat all year. There is a place for everything as long as I remember to toss if I buy. The glass door cabinets were tackled today and I am getting rid of a third. It may be beautiful items, but the cabinets now look beautiful. I am on my 50th year of marriage and finally getting a hang of it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    1. Hi Jean! Thank you for sharing your story- so glad to hear you are making progress and feeling good about the decluttering process! It really can make such a big difference -all that excess stuff can literally weigh our lives down!

    1. Thanks Cathy! It’s such a treat to go into the cupboards and drawers now and have everything tidy and organized!

    1. Some people can be so creative – I don’t know that I would have thought of the magazine holders! But I saw some nice metal magazine files at my local dollar store (really, things there are $2 or $3 dollars but they call it a dollar store) – and now I know that they would work great for kitchen storage and organization!

    1. Hi Anji! A pantry definitely is a great thing to have. Do you have room to add a cabinet – you can buy some cute pre-made pantries these days that might function well. In our previous house we used to use a nearby closet as our pantry and that functioned well, too. Just a thought! I know that tiny kitchens can be tough to work with and keep organized!

  3. Tackled my Master Bath and Laundry Room this weekend! Got rid of so much stuff I actually have an empty drawer! I can so open my linen cabinet with out fear that something will fall on my head.

So need to do my pantry but my husband is talking about letting me get a new shelving system for it.

    1. I love that! I managed to end up with an empty drawer in the kitchen, as well. Isn’t that an awesome feeling! And I totally get what you are saying about the linen closet! Good luck with the pantry shelving:)
