My Most Popular Posts of 2017

Today’s the day! For one of my favourite posts of the year.

I love taking the time as we switch over to a new year to reflect upon what I’ve enjoyed doing over the previous year and to see what you, as readers, have loved reading. And this year the trend was definitely clear.

My organization posts came in as number one above almost everything else that I wrote and shared. It seems that I’m not the only one craving more simplicity and calm in our overly busy family lives!

Organization is most definitely an area that I’m going to continue to focus on over the next few months in addition to some new plans and projects that we plan to tackle during 2018. I’ll be back tomorrow to share more about our goals for the year ahead; but for today I’ve joined up with some of my favourite Top Bloggers to share our TOP TEN of 2017!

#1

My top post of 2017 was, hands down and by a landslide, my  10 Week Organizing Challenge.  I started off with this post last January, with no idea where it would lead me, and just an earnest desire to tackle the organizational issues that were plaguing our busy lives. The challenge went pretty viral on Pinterest early in the year and has held on strong ever since. And the best thing about it? I absolutely loved doing it and I loved sharing it with you all! It has made such a difference in our home and our lives, and the whole point of blogging is to share and help and inspire one another, which is definitely where this post lead. So, if you are looking to tackle some organizational issues in your home, I invite you to head over and check out the challenge! You can even sign up to receive a weekly email that helps walk you through each week!

I confess. I’m a total geek. One of my personal favourite projects of last year was  re-organizing our linen closet! I think it was switching over from the wire shelving to the pretty built in wooden shelves that really did it for me. Plus those bins. And those labels… Okay, you can just head over and check out the whole thing yourself. Because it’s hard to match the excitement of a post all about a pretty organized closet full of towels and bedding, am I right?

  1. This is a great line up of posts, Krista. The organizational posts are definitely winners in my mind (especially now that I am preparing to get a real craft space in our basement this year – will need to visit your craft space organization tutorial!).

    1. Thanks Jelica! I just moved my craft room downstairs so it’s kind of fun to get to set it up all over again in a new space!
