  1. Everything is so cute Krista, I love the black and white with all your brights! I love love your plank on the stripped runner, I just showed it to my contractor son and said, “I need this for Thanksgiving!” Thanks so much!

    1. Oh that is so funny Jenna! Glad you like it – the plank was such an easy project. I just took an old piece of wood we had laying around outside, smashed it up a little with a hammer, applied a stain, and voila! But I like the way it makes the table centerpiece items stand out a little:)

  2. The autumnal colours look really good in your home Krista. You know I’m looking forward to seeing what you’ve done in your boys bedroom, and of course Christmas is ’round the corner – yay! Petra xo

    1. Hi Petra!! Thanks…I thought I loved the summery colours best in our house, but now that I have added in so many warm autumn touches I am loving those colours as well. I think each season really does have it’s own great feel to it. When I reflect back now about our last few houses I realize that the colour scheme of each house was influenced by the season we moved into the house! Our first house was a spring and all the paint colours were fresh and bright and pastel… and the second house was fall and it was all warm tones with reds, greens, and golds. This house has pretty neutral paint and I just keep changing up the accessories. I think I like that strategy best:) I am happy to report that our youngest son finally has a real bed to sleep in again finally (there was a gap there between crib and big boy bed that consisted of a big boy mattress on the ground). And hopefully I will have some paneling and paint to share one of these days soon!! Looking forward to Christmas too:) Have a great week!
