Rustic Natural & Neutral Christmas Style Series
Today I’m sharing ideas and inspiration for neutral and natural Christmas decor; how to create a rustic, natural, neutral Christmas Style in your home.
Good morning, friends!
Have you been following along with my 12 Days of Christmas Style series?
I have to tell you; I’ve been having an incredible time putting it all together.
Getting to visit all of these stunning homes decked out for the holidays; checking out amazing tree decor ideas; wrapping ideas; and Christmas DIY and craft projects. Well, to be honest, I’m a bit overwhelmed by all the amazing talent and beauty out there.
But you know what they say.
Comparison is the thief of Joy.
And it’s important to focus on the reason for this holiday season more then the decor.
Why do we decorate for the holidays, anyhow?
I believe that it is to create a cozy, welcoming, fun, inviting, lovely space for our friends and family to be together. To share joy. To remember the reason we celebrate Christmas. And to create fun and happy memories.
So no matter which style speaks to you; whether it be Farmhouse or All-white ; Black & White or Classic Red & White; Cabin-chic or Merry & Bright Colorful Christmas Style; the whole point is to create a space that reflects you and that you and your family and friends enjoy being in.
Today I’m sharing a particularly cozy home style; and one that only requires a few simple and often free ingredients to pull-off. Rustic Neutral Christmas Style.
To create this style you don’t need a lot.
Natural greenery. Rustic touches. Think: bringing the outdoors in.
Simple fabrics. Burlap. Linen. Canvas. Plaid.
Twine. Baskets. Pine Cones and branches.
Rustic and Neutral Christmas Style is calm and warm.
Lovely; serene; and full of space for your family and friends to be the colour in your home.
I’ve got a Pinterest board for Rustic and Neutral Christmas Style that is full of these ideas and more; and I continue to add to it as I find more beautiful rustic and neutral online.
I hope you enjoy the inspiration…

I love the look of Christmas in the home this way! Simple, yet so beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
Very inspirational, this natural looks works very well with red and white “Scandi” type decorations too.
I am now following you via the Pinterest link so I will be busy for the next hour or two saving all those great ideas 🙂
I’m loving this neutral, rustic, cream, gold Christmas look. It’s quite a change from the traditional bright red, green and silver decor of Christmas, but it feels so serene and tranquil. I have been wanting to do our Christmas decorating in this style for the past two years, but my husband has resisted…well, more like he’s said, “No”. Thinks it wouldn’t be “fun” for the grandchildren (maybe for him). 🙂
Thank you for this incredible inspiration! I’m going to share these pictures with him and who knows?????
