Today I’m sharing a series of 3 summer lake watercolour paintings that are perfect for adding a lovely summery feel to your home – I hope you love this free printable wall art!
I can hardly believe that it is the end of May and that summer is right around the corner. This past weekend was the “May long weekend” here in Canada with Monday being Victoria Day and this weekend of the year alway marks the unofficial start of summer. I am excited to share these watercolour printables that I made of the lake views around our place at Sproat Lake using my favourite easy watercolour app, Waterlogue. I can’t wait to display these in our new kitchen, and am even going to see if they will work as art on our new Frame TV! I’m still figuring out the perfect spot in our home to display a seasonal collection of printable wall art, as we work our way through adding decor touches to our new build home. I’m excited about sharing more of it with you over the coming weeks!
“The lake” as we commonly refer to it around here is one of the local lakes in our area and the same lake that we lived on for several years. This past fall we managed to purchase a dream property out at “the lake” and we plan to build on it down the road in severals year’s time after living in town while our boys are going through school. But although we don’t have a home there right now we still enjoy going out and using our property whenever the weather allows. I hope you enjoy these watery lake views as much as we do, and that they add a little summer feel to your home.
I’ve also joined some of my friends who are sharing their free summer printables with you, be sure to check out the links to their posts at the bottom of the page!
We have so many good family memories at the lake, and are eagerly awaiting enjoying the warm summer days out there full of swimming, watersports, boating, and sunsets. Two of these prints are made from images of the area where our property is on Sproat Lake, and the third is of a beautiful little mountain lake that I came upon last summer while hiking in Strathcona Park.
