Weekend Cuppa Tea: Fall is in the Air

Hello All! I love a warm cozy cuppa tea. Nothing quite like it to relax and refresh at the same time.

You know what else I love? Being inspired. And every week I find a whole lot of new inspiration out there amongst all the talented bloggers that I follow or that I meet through link-ups.

And here are a few of my favourites from this week… Fall is still the theme:) Time to sit back and enjoy this week’s brew.

I love this acorn vase by Kelly at Eclectically Vintage… it is so fun and full of texture. I have been majorly on the hunt for acorns lately to no avail…

And isn’t this little leaf garland so pretty! Another fabulous project by Cristina at Remodelando la Casa.

I am completely swooning over these amazing no-sew chair back covers by Diane at In My Own Style…. ahhhh is all I can say. And then sign and gaze at them some more. I am majorly feeling the black and white these days. No-Sew-Chair-Back-Cover-How-to-make-turtorial_thumb from In My Own Style

I also love this plaid bunting banner by Shayna at Woodgrain Cottage – the feel of it is so woodsy and suits her rustic chic décor so perfectly. And what a fabulous thrifty idea!!

Trisha has been ridiculousy creative again with this amazing Vintage Tart Tin Garland over at Simplicity in the South… who would have ever thought??!! Wow.Vintage-tart-tin-garland-a-simple-fall-craft-project.

This tree slice chalkboard on a slice of wood is so adorable… and I love that Kim cut (or had her husband cut) the slice off the wood her/themselves. I would love to whip up one of these…. if only the rain would stop maybe I could entice my husband into breaking out the chainsaw. Tree-slice-chalkboards by newly woodwards

These different DIY Banner and Bunting ideas are so fabulous that I can’t wait to have the chance to make and use all of them… by AKA Designs. Pinned, of course.

And because Halloween is right around the corner I have noticed several fun Halloween-y projects making their way into my daily reads… this cute take on a Mason Jar craft by Ingrid at Now at Home Mom is one fun example. The possibilities are endless with mason jars!

I also love this adorable  (or creepy, depending on your perspective on spiders) spider wreath by Chelsea at Making Home Base…

And these fun vintage postcards could have a lot of uses in your Halloween décor… Cindy at Little Miss Celebration was sharing them this week.

What have you seen this week that majorly peaked your interest? Anything I should check out that I might have missed? Have you started decorating for Halloween yet, or are you still enjoying the early fall?

Thanks for reading. And remember my housie friends, HOME isn’t built in a day. Enjoy the journey.

    1. Thanks Therese! Unfortunately is was a soaking wet completely soggy Autumn weekend… nothing fun outdoors around here. Ah well… west coast I suppose:)

  2. Krista they are all great ideas – the piece of timber painted with chalk paint, the chair slip-cover, the vintage tin garland…wow! People can be so creative can’t they? I’ve not been creative this weekend, I’ve been “demolitive” 😀 is there such a word?! We’ve demolished our kitchen COMPLETELY! It’s gone! Yay! We’ve now got to clean off the walls covered in dead and squashed cockroaches that have been sitting quietly behind the cupboards…fun, fun, fun 🙂

  3. Krista, oh I LOVE all of these!! There are a few I haven’t seen so excited to go visit. So sweet of you to include my vintage postcards, thank you! Have a happy Fall Saturday and a wonderful weekend!
