20 Incredible Small Pantry Organization Ideas and Makeovers
I’m pretty inspired this weekend to tackle a big project that has been weighing on me for a while. A loooooong while.
It’s our pantry.
It probably couldn’t get much worse right now if I just opened up the doors wide and let some wild pigs have a heyday inside of it.
Instead of looking inside my pantry to check what my family can eat, I live in constant fear that when I open those doors something is going to leap out and try to eat us.
So, in my effort to figure out how to tackle this little cupboard-of-chaos, I took to the web and found all kinds of fabulous tips and stunning pantry makeovers that have me feeling much more prepared to take on this big task.
Sure, it’s easy to keep your pantry organized if you have a huge walk in, or a butler’s pantry. But we have a 24″ wide by 24″ deep by 60″ tall space. And it has to fit all of our food. I really don’t have room in any other cupboards for food to start spilling over.
{Okay, well, I may have devoted one entire drawer to my tea-obsession, but that’s a whole other issue.}
Anyhow, I decided to focus my “research” efforts on small pantry organization ideas and makeovers, since that is clearly what we are dealing with here. A small pantry.
And I’m hoping it is soon a small-beautifully-organized pantry.
I hope you find these posts as inspiring as I have -they are chock full of awesome ideas, helpful tips, and beautiful inspiration!

I have a closet pantry, I moved everything around! YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
I saw a lot of ideas – but very few for all the canned goods – I buy by the case when veggies are on sale 2 or 3 for $1.
I hate my pantry but I don’t think I could ever get it to look nice, it’s a skinny room with bad shelves on one side, it really does not have hope☹
I really like the ideas. Thanks for all your research. Unfortunately, I saw only a few ideas for “small” pantry organization. Despite having mentioned not having a walk in pantry, most of these ideas are for a larger pantry. Thanks again for your efforts. A small pantry these days is probably unheard of. Love your blog!
AMAZING inspiration Krista! Thanks for sharing the panty from my previous house! I have to tell you that it was easier for me to keep it organized than my larger pantry is now! I’m finding more space doesn’t always mean easy to keep organized! I’m working on mine too and you have given me so many great ideas with this post. Loved it! Happy February cutie! xo
Hi Erin!
You did such a fab organizing job in your old ‘small’ pantry! I loved it! Of course, your new pantry is absolutely drool-worthy. If I ever build, I want a butler’s pantry like yours!! Have a great week!
Fantastic roundup! Thanks so much for including my pantry! 🙂
Thanks Angela – for sharing the inspiration! I love how your pantry turned out:)
Wow really like these
Thanks Jo-Anne! They look like they would make meal prep a lot easier!
