It's done! Can you believe our master is the first

It's done! Can you believe our master is the first room in our new build that is totally decorated and ready to share?! Most of the time people leave their bedroom for last, but it definitely feels amazing to have a calm, finished sanctuary to retreat to at the end of the day. And the whole decor scheme was centred around this beautiful rug from @mohawk_home #AD. My new morning view... I still have some trim and

My new morning view...
I still have some trim and doors to paint and all my @schlagecanada door hardware to install, but we’re getting close to being finished and we’re definitely feeling more settled. We’ve even got grass growing (swipe left) and then the rest of the fence and yard work to tackle outside. We’ve been in for 6 weeks now and it’s starting to feel like home. I can’t wait to show you more, and tackle a few little decorating projects that will make it more “us”!

It’s been a crazy couple of months with finishin

It’s been a crazy couple of months with finishing the new build house and moving in...and in the middle of it all our two year old lab was diagnosed with an incurable bone cancer. I took a big break from IG while all this was going on, it just all felt like too much. We lost Maple nearly two weeks ago and are starting to come back to some sense of normal. Any of you who have lost a pet know how it can impact your family, but we are so grateful for a what a beautiful, lovely pup our girl Maple was while we had time with her🍁

You guys! I'm so excited about the front door and porch on our new build (see my story highlights), and I can't wait to move in and start decorating the front porch for the seasons again! This is a shot of our porch at our old lake house - I loved switching it up each season. The front door was painted Aegean Teal @benjaminmoore.
