Time to Share Your Thrifty Halloween Projects: Get Your DIY On Challenge (and Chalkboard Challenge Features)
I can’t believe we are in week 6! That means Halloween is just a few days away and Christmas is just a few weeks away. Yikes!!! Are you close to being done with holiday shopping? Ummm… I haven’t even thought about it yet!
Thank you so much for linking up your chalk board projects last week. It was honestly the HARDEST week so far to choose features… so much so that I think I will be back soon with a whole post dedicated to featuring your awesome chalkboard-ness. The creativity and quality of projects shared was incredible this week!!
Here are some of the fabulous features from last week’s chalk board projects…
I love this fun DIY Birthday and Anniversary Chalkboard Calendar by Lauren at the Thinking Closet… what a creative and pretty way to keep track of all those important dates!
How funky cool is this awesome anthro-inspired chalkboard globe by Lora at Craftivity Designs…. love it!
I think that painting your son’s bedroom wall in chalkboard paint qualifies you for some sort of Mother-of-the-Year (or at least month) award, don’t you? I LOVE how Danielle totally transformed her son’s room with chalkboard paint (and some other adorable decorative vintage touches) over at 2 Little Superheroes.

Now let’s move on to this week’s theme- Thrifty Halloween Projects
The fun part about trying to be thrifty and sticking to a budget is that it forces us to think outside the box… to be extra creative and resourceful instead of just buying something already done for us!
Did you get a chance to see all of my cohost’s Thrifty Halloween Projects this week?
Quilled Paper Skull by Christy at Confessions of a Serial Do-It-Yourselfer
DIY Batmobile by Abby at Just a Girl and Her Blog
